Melissa brings 30 years of nursing experience to her job at
Golden Living where she serves as the National Director of Clinical
Practice for Golden Living’s 295 skilled nursing facilities (SNF).
In this role, she develops clinical practice standards, researches
and writes policy, and develops and provides education and training
on clinical initiatives to the LivingCenter employees and Senior
Clinical Leaders.
Melissa’s passion for teaching and research can be seen in her
day-to-day responsibilities, which include supporting field
clinicians, training new leaders, developing programs,
collaborating on reducing turnover and improving regulatory
outcomes. Her career highlights include establishing quality
skilled nursing centers which serve their communities, overseeing
the revitalization of several large and highly-challenged skilled
nursing centers in two states, and opening two SNFs.
Melissa is a licensed professional nurse in multiple states, and
a licensed nursing home administrator. Melissa earned her diploma
in nursing from Peter Bent Brigham School of Nursing, her Bachelor
of Science degree in nursing from Seton Hall University and her
Master of Science degree in nursing/health systems management from
Vanderbilt University.
