Stacey Hord
Golden Living
Stacey Merritt Hord is a healthcare executive with expertise in
educating, deploying and sustaining the Baldrige Criteria for
Performance Excellence as a business model in post-acute care and
other sectors. Stacey’s role with Golden Living is Vice President
of Quality. Facilities under her operational oversight as a
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator received AHCA/NCAL Bronze and
Silver recognitions, along with Alabama Level 1 Commitment to
Excellence, Level 2 Progress Toward Excellence and the Level 3
Alabama Excellence recognition.
Her faculty experience includes the AHCA/NCAL National
Convention, Alabama Quality Award Conference, AHCA Quality
Symposium and Georgia Health Care Association Convention, as well
as other venues. Stacey served on the panel of experts for the AL
Quality Award Conference in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, and
has served as an AHCA Quality Award Examiner in multiple roles
(Bronze, Silver, Silver Team Leader and Master Examiner) since
2002. She is currently a member of the AHCA Quality Improvement
Committee and AHCA QAPI subcommittee. In addition, Stacey serves as
chair of the 2015 QAPI Tools and Resources Workgroup for the
Quality Improvement Committee.
She has been a member of the AHCA Public Education and
Communication Campaign since 2012 and served on the 2013 AHCA
Professional Workgroup Development Committee. Stacey was also a
member of the 2012 CMS Antipsychotic Quality Measure Technical
Expert Panel and served on the 2014 CMS Person Centered Care
Technical Expert Panel.
